Daryl Easton – The Magicians Magician
To hear of the recent suicide of Daryl Easton was beyond comprehension.
For those who are reading this: in 1982 when I was being born Daryl was becoming world champion, and since then released a succession of the most comprehensive VHS dvds on the techniques of magic.
They were superb and were the key foundation of my love and progression within magic.
Funnily enough when I was a young whippersnapper when I met soon to be superstar Dynamo at the back of a national express bus the name which came up was Daryl with great affection. He was that good.
I emailed him often and told him that he was a huge inspiration and I am certain so did so many.
Fast forward to today, I have performed so many of his tricks and for any magicians reading; here are my favourite

All his material is worth checking out.
I met Daryl on many occasions through the years and this guy was the business.
Funny, charming, well present, well thought out he really was a class act and something I will always aspire to be….
