I get asked a lot, while I am out performing both if I am a member of the magic circle, and a lot of people presume I am a member.
The answer is NO I am not a member nor have I ever been.
Am I of Magic Circle standard?
Without a doubt : I have trained people who have become members, I have performed with members and I have even beaten members in magic competitions.
However, at this point I have two young children and a 4 hr round trip to London weekly doesn’t really add up, but that is just me.
I would advise anyone who is thinking of joining this club of seriously looking into it.
There are lots of great local club as well as the main one in London where there is a great resource of books and a wealth of knowledge with its members.
There is also Junior programme available for any youngsters who have an interest.
So what sort of magic do I do?
Well I perform close up magic, cabaret, mind reading and a childrens show.
The types of events are private parties, weddings, corporate events and children’s parties.
